The best and brightest in animation in Asia come together with the creative forces of Warner and those behind Batman Begins and The Dark Knight to offer up a collection of shorts Animatrix style.

There are many different styles in Batman: Gotham Knight, some more traditional, some more visual and some more intellectual than others.  Which short you’ll like (as you will certainly find at least one that gets under your cowl) very much depends on your sensibilities.  The story with the children recounting their encounters with Batman and how perception alters his appearance is not only clever but gorgeous looking, for narration there’s nothing better than that featuring Deadshot (Jim Meskimen) who is no doubt a villain we will see more of in forthcoming live action envisions of the Caped Crusader and the casting of the Batman himself Kevin Conroy to give the film literally a unifying voice is wonderful.  An  excellent showcase of talent and love of Batman.  It's a must buy for any Batman fan but by definition it is superficial.
