Movie Bar - On Demand

It comes in many forms but this months Movie Bar O.D is all about Danger!!  We race out of the blocks with J.R behind the directors chair for an entertaining sequel before taking a trip to Venus with Peter Bogdanovich and discovering what makes science fun!

Beware! The Blob (aka Son of Blob)
(1972) Dir. Larry Hagman
A technician brings a frozen specimen of the original Blob back from the North Pole but when his wife accidentially defrosts the thing it terrorizes the populace including local hippies, kittens and bowlers (seriously?! even the bowlers aren't safe).  Starring Robert Walker Jr., Larry Hagman and this blogs favourite Marlene Clark.

Then we take to the stars with a twinkling of the A to Z of Exploitation Cinema and...

Voyage to the Planet of Prehistoric Women
(1968) Dir. Peter Bogdanovich
Astronauts landing on Venus encounter dangerous exotic creates and almost meet some sexy Venusian women who like to sunbathe in hip-hugging skin tight pants and seashell bras.  Like Planet of the Apes but you know with beautiful people and not poo chucking monkeys.

You can watch both films for free for the month of July by clicking [here] and following the instructions at the bottom of the page for the best possible results.
